From the 15th of July 2022, significant changes to the Renting Homes (Wales) act will be introduced, one of the main changes will be the requirement for Carbon Monoxide detectors to be fitted in rooms which contain a gas appliance, an oil-fired combustion appliance or a solid fuel burning combustion appliance, mains wired smoked detectors to be fitted on each storey of the property and interlinked with each other and finally the property must have a satisfactory electrical installation condition report.
GMI Electrical Ltd is currently in the process of installing 1300 Carbon Monoxide detectors and conducting over 250 electrical installation condition reports for various clients before the 15th of July 2022.
