After a successful tender, GMI Electrical Ltd was instructed to carry out a full lighting upgrade for our Client. The installation comprised approximately 500 lights, including corridor function lighting throughout all communal areas and also the alteration to all switching arrangements to incorporate the use of PIR sensors to reduce the energy consumption. The installation overall will reduce energy consumption, will reduce maintenance cost and improve lighting levels throughout premises.
With the ban on T5 and T8 Fluorescent lamps coming into effect on the 25th of August 2023 this was the ideal time for the client to upgrade the installation.
