Sustainable Efforts at Aberdare RFC
In a practical move towards sustainability, Aberdare RFC has installed a 21.87 kW solar PV system. This project was executed as part of the @welshrugbyunion's Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Project.
Benefits of the Installation
Solar panels are a direct approach to energy efficiency and cost reduction. With the new installation, Aberdare RFC is projected to see a noticeable reduction in annual electricity costs. The initiative also supports the Club's goal to establish itself as a carbon-neutral facility.
"The installation of the solar panels is expected to cut down our annual electricity expenses. It aligns with Aberdare RFC's ambition to be a carbon-neutral facility and our commitment to the community game in the Aberdare area."
